SEEF classroom grants are awarded to support innovative and creative projects that engage students and enhance curriculum. Shakopee School District staff submit grant proposals for ideas they would like to implement in the classroom. Since 1992, the Foundation has provided 488 classroom grants totaling over $369,000 for projects supporting the excellence that has always highlighted the Shakopee School District. Grants are provided across all schools and in all curriculum areas. Funds to support grants come from generous donations made by area businesses, service clubs, school district staff, community members and alumni.
We encourage you to explore the lists of grant awards in this section to appreciate the breadth of impact that SEEF grants have had for Shakopee students over the last twenty five plus years.
